Depending on the version, you will have to pull down different menus. In the
earlier versions, you have to pull down the "Fax" menu, selection
"Setup" and then click on the "More" button to get to the
init string. On later revisions, you will have to pull down the "File"
option, select "Setup", select "Fax", and then click on
the "More" button. From here you can change the init string to
  "AT&F&K4&C1&D2S0=0S7=90\".

Click on the "Fax/Modem" button, and you can change the init
string. Set it to "AT&F&C1&D2S0=0S7=90\". Most of our
modems are listed in their list.
  TERMINAL
  MODE:
None. Fax only program. Known problems are that early versions of Winfax Pro
v3.0 have many problems sending and receiving at 14,400 speeds. Get the
latest driver either from their BBS (number listed above)
  Winfax
  Pro v4.0 for Windows
  Symantec,
  Corp.
  http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/
  CHANGE
  PORT:
Pull down the "Setup" menu, and select "Fax/Modem". It is
the first option on the top.
  INIT
  STRING:
Pull down the "Setup" menu, and select "Fax/Modem". The
init string is automatically put in when you select a modem type, but the
  recommended string is "AT&F&C1&D2S0=0S7=90\". We
recommend to use Class 1 protocol and Z32t-SX setting for all Zypcom Z-Series
  modems.
  As
of 7/28/94, there is another update to this software. This fixes the problems
with fax machines that use T.2 and T.3 fax protocols, such as Konica FAX-280
and Konica FAX-300 fax machines. It also fixed problems receiving from
certain Canon fax machines (exact model numbers unknown). Lastly, there are
changes to ECM which may correct additional send and receive problems.
  There
are known problems with "Detect Busy" checkbox. It does not work.
