    CHANGE PORT:

    Under "Settings" menu, choose "Session Settings". Change port in the top right hand corner of the dialog box marked "Connector".

    INIT STRING:

    Pull down "Settings" from the menubar, select "Modem Settings". Change the init string to read:
    "AT&F&C1&D2S0=0^M".

    Be sure to make this setting the "Current Setting"
